Our private section of the Frio River has a refreshing flow of cold water direct from our spring-fed, natural pool.

Towering Cypress and Heritage Oaks shade Camp Cold Springs from the Texas heat.
Don’t fret! Your stargazing is a short walk down to the river.

Don’t have anything to prove? Get cozy as you set your chair seat-deep in the Frio, or hop on your kayak or paddleboard and go explore.

Bring a rod and don’t hook your neighbor. Bass is the most popular catch around here.
Yes, you are supposed to have a fishing license. You can purchase one online here, just don’t forget that rivers are freshwater.

While we don’t have a shuttle or rent tubes on-site, we love our floating friends. If you don’t bring your own tube we’ll be more than happy to send you to another friendly business that will help you out. So float on.

Aside from RV sites you can also visit the General Store to rent your paddleboard.
